The Role
In this role, you will not just be "animating"; you will be an architect of visual learning. You will ideate and create audio-visual content that simplifies complex curriculum concepts. This role requires a balance of creative flair and technical precision, ensuring that our visual assets build thought leadership in the social EdTech space.
Key Responsibilities
- Core Animation: Produce high-quality 2D animations using Adobe Creative Suite covering Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Animate, Adobe Audition, as well as Voicemaker. Knowledge of utilising AI in 2D Animations.
- End-to-End Video Production: Create new videos by merging visual components, audio files, and on-screen text. You will handle the full output process from raw assets to the final polished file.
- Editing & Refinement: Edit existing 2D animated files, including modifying text, sound, background imagery, and other embedded elements.
- Storyboarding & Layout: Prepare detailed storyboard layouts, sketches, and visual aids to define the animation theme before production.
- Graphic Design Collaboration: Provide extensive support to Graphic Designers. You will collaborate to design/integrate graphic elements, create new designs from existing animations, and analyze how graphics perform within the Flash system.
- Project Compilation: Coordinate with team members to gather specific requirements and develop animation shots that align with the overall project theme and timelines.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Mandatory Tools: Hands-on, professional experience in Adobe Creative Suite (covering Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Animate, Adobe Audition, as well as Voicemaker) and Voicemaker is a must.
- Good to have skills: 3D Animation (Basic knowledge/hand-on experience)
- Design Suite: Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Freehand. Knowledge of After Effects for post-production is required.
- Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on 2D Animation experience, preferably full-time. Preferably within EdTech, the Social Sector, or E-Learning environments.
- Communication: Flawless written communication (for on-screen text) and excellent coordination skills to work across multi-functional teams.
